The program will focus on...
MINDFUL SPENDING
Students will learn healthy spending and saving habits. By the end of the program, students will be able to effectively create a budget to best fit their financial goals.
CREDIT & DEBT
Students will understand how credit & debt work and learn practical skills to control and manage it.
TAXES
Students will learn about the basics of Canadian taxes, including how they work and how/when to file.
INVESTING
Students will learn about different investment options and develop an understanding of basic investment concepts and strategies.

GO Transit?
The PGCLL is a 5 minute walk from the McMaster GO Bus Terminal located directly on campus. Refer to the campus map for directions from the terminal to the PGCLL.
Driving?
We provide free parking for students who wish to drive to the event. There is an underground parking lot located directly under the PGCLL (among many other lots on campus).
FAQ
Are there minimum age requirements to attend the program?
Yes, ALL attendees must be high school students in grades 9, 10, 11, 12.
What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code. Casual clothing is accepted.
What do I bring?
Attendees are not required to bring anything. We provide lunch (vegetarian options are available), handouts, and writing utensils. However, students are welcome to bring their own food, writing utensils, or electronic devices to assist their learning (free Wi-Fi is provided)
What time do the doors open?
The program will begin at 10AM. Doors open at 9:30AM, please arrive no later than 9:50AM to check in.
What are the parking options?
We provide free on-site parking for students who wish to drive.
Do I have to bring a copy of my ticket?
No. If you have registered, provide your first and last name at the entrance as well as a piece of valid student ID or government ID.
What if I change my mind?
If you change your mind, please cancel your attendance through the "Tickets" page on your Eventbrite account ASAP.
When does registration close?
Registration will close on May 20th at 11:59 PM. However, all spots may be filled before then so we encourage students to apply early!
Is there a way for me to get updates as the program gets closer?
